Weddings and Events
Chebeague Island Inn is one of the few remaining historic inns along the coast of Maine and is recommended by Martha Stewart Weddings as a top destination in the U.S. Restored in 2004, Chebeague Island Inn is available for events from mid-May through mid-October. We reserve the last two weekends in May, the first two weekends in June, the last two weekends in September, and the first two weekends in October for weddings. July and August weddings are accommodated on a first-come, first-serve basis.
We offer:
- 21 guest rooms individually detailed by Maine artists and artisans
- Full-service dining room with seating for up to 90 individuals
- A small private meeting room with a flatscreen TV with computer hookup (accommodates up to 20 guests)
- Tent site able to accomodate a 30' X 80' tent (approximately 200 people)
- Wireless Internet Access
- On-sight Events Coordinator
- For your convenience we offer shuttle transportation to the Inn from the ferries and launch services from our eight private moorings. Our staff is also able to coordinate seemless transportation for event guests from Downtown Portland, Portland International Jetport, Yarmouth, or Freeport.
We can accommodate events from one day to a week or longer with advance notice. The Chebeague Island Inn has hosted a variety of events including:
- A one day executive retreat for 25 members of a Portland law firm
- A family outing for 60 from a Portland Fortune 500 company.
- A client appreciation lunch for a New York investment banking firm.
- A two-day sales meeting for 30 from a New York publishing firm.
- A 100 person destination wedding for a couple from California.
- A Traditional Maine Lobster Bake Rehersal Dinner for 38 people
